I was suppose to go to my mom's today but decided to stay home and get ready for my sister-in-law due to arrive tomorrow. The house was still a total mess.
I did take a little time to get my hair cut as my hair dresser had an opening right away. After the hair I thought I'd go to Trader Joe's and as I walked in saw my friend Brian serving food in the back of the store. Giving it a second thought, as I really wanted to get home, I decided to go and say hi.
We bantered back and forth while another customer said goodbye then Brian asked how the cookie endeavor was going. I explained that Nate and I had grown too big to work together and I really needed a kitchen. After another minute Brian stopped and then said that the lady who had just been there had her own restaurant and would maybe rent some time to me. But her lease was up and she would be moving.
By then Carol, the lady, came down the next aisle and Brian called her over. I introduced myself and explained to her what we needed to which she asked for me to come over tomorrow a.m. and bring a cookie.
Carol is only in this location until the end of the month but is more than willing for me to work when she is not there. In the meantime she is looking for a new location for her restaurant.
This might be a great possibility. Funny how one decision to stop at Trader Joe's can change the possibilities.
